The National Student Survey

The National Student Survey (NSS) annual survey, which runs from 1 February to 30 April, is now live. It aims to gather feedback from final year undergraduate students on various aspects of the student experience.

Universities are required to take part in the Survey as part of the Teaching Quality Information arrangements with the Higher Education Funding Council for England (HEFCE). The NSS is managed on behalf of HEFCE by Ipsos MORI, an independent survey research agency. Students are asked to complete the NSS questionnaire on-line and may be contacted by telephone and by post.
Results are published via UNISTATS and within university league tables to enable prospective students, parents and teachers, etc. to make informed choices about their higher education options.
