The summer scholarship is open to ALL second year students at the Royal Agricultural University. Two scholarships will be awarded, each with a value of £2,500, for research on topical and pressing issues in land-based industries, over 10 weeks between June and September.
This is the third year of the scholarship, which has seen previous students tackle the subjects of the positive opportunities of Brexit, the emotional impact of flooding on homeowners, the future of the family farm and staffing in the equine industry.
This is an incredible opportunity for students to develop commercial research skills by exploring an aspect of rural life in more depth, to learn more about the insurance world and meet some key players in the industry.
Successful applicants will be mentored throughout by a member of the Lycetts team.
